Many of you will remember me as John Milner, the character I played in the hit movie "American Graffiti". Here is a few tidbits that you may not know. I was a Vietnam War veteran awarded the National Defense Medal and Vietnam Service Medal, and won the George Washington Honor Medal, from the Freedom Foundation. I attended Newport Harbor High School, San Diego City College, Cypress Junior College, Chapman College, and LA Valley College. I also won the LA Diamond Belt, Welterweight Division, the Southern Pacific AAU Boxing Championship in 1972, so don't mess with me! Remember I saved Toads butt in American Graffiti. You might say I was the Lone Ranger in that movie. Ha! In 1974 I won a Golden Globe Award for - The Most Promising Newcomer - Male for "American Graffiti" (1973). In 1981 I was nominated for a Golden Globe Award for Best Motion Picture Actor - Musical/Comedy for - "Melvin & Howard". In 1985 I won a Golden Globe Award for Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role in a Series, Mini-Series or Motion Picture Made for TV for "The Burning Bed" (1984). The ladies hated my character in that one! Click on the IMDB link & see other work that I've done. Signed items & memorabilia can be purchased at our Store link, so please stop by & visit!
